The
Chinese Language and Culture Institute of Shantou University offers Modern
Chinese Language Major Term Programs for foreigners or foreign teachers
who teach Chinese as a foreign language ,as well as short term courses
of various types [ including teachers training courses ] on the Chinese
language . They are offered mainly to learners from various countries
[ regions ] who wish to come to our university to study the Chinese language
[ including Chinese dialects ] or theories and methodology of the Chinese
language teaching , courses on Chinese literature , history and culture
. The Institute also offers advanced courses for teachers teaching Chinese
in foreign countries .
